The All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) has decided to enter the fray for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections scheduled for next month.
Out of the 70 constituencies in Delhi, the party plans to contest in 10-12 seats where minority votes play a crucial role. Key constituencies include Chandni Chowk and Karwan Nagar.
AIMIM has already announced candidates for two constituencies. The elections are set to take place on February 5, with the results to be declared on February 8.
