AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan, representing Okhla, threatened a reporter when questioned about his son’s alleged misbehavior with police. The confrontation arose after the reporter asked if Khan felt ashamed of the incident.
Defending his son, Khan lashed out, accusing the reporter of inappropriate questioning. Surrounded by supporters, Khan initially dismissed the query, later asking the reporter to leave. His supporters pushed the reporter away, prompting Khan to intervene and slap one of them.
Khan blamed the Station House Officer (SHO) for recording and sharing his son’s video, labeling the news channel as BJP-affiliated. In the viral video, Khan can be heard threatening the reporter.
The controversy stems from an earlier incident where Khan’s son allegedly misbehaved with police during a patrol. His motorcycle was impounded, and a challan issued after he refused to provide identification and involved his father in the matter.
