Manish Sisodia, former Delhi deputy chief minister shared his experiences after being released from 17 months in jail due to charges related to the Delhi excise policy case.
He described having mood swings in prison, feeling disturbed by political events and likened his confinement to a warrior unable to join the battle.
Despite the hardships Sisodia emphasized his focus on helping the Aam Aadmi Party win the upcoming state elections expressing readiness to take on any role the party assigns. He praised the AAP's resilience during challenging times.
Sisodia also criticized the central government for undermining democracy in Delhi by granting extensive powers to the Lieutenant Governor which he claims hinders governance and intimidates bureaucrats impacting the city's administration.
