120-Foot-Tall Chariot Collapses: One Dead, Several Injured

A 120-foot-tall chariot collapsed during a procession, resulting in one death and several injuries. A video clip of the incident has gone viral on social media. The tragic event took place in Bengaluru Rural district, Karnataka. The Madduramma Jathara was held on Saturday in Huskur, Anekal. As part of the festival, temple organizers had built two massive chariots, each over 100 feet tall.

During the procession, devotees pulled the chariots using ropes. However, due to strong winds, the 120-foot-tall chariot lost balance and toppled to one side. This accident led to the death of one person, while several others were injured. Additionally, multiple vehicles were damaged in the incident.

Police and local authorities immediately launched rescue operations. The injured were rushed to a hospital for treatment. The deceased has been identified as Lohith from Hosur, Tamil Nadu. Officials are investigating the cause of the chariot collapse, while the viral video of the incident continues to circulate on social media.
