Entrepreneur Files Complaint Against Union Minister

An entrepreneur named Vijay Tata has lodged a complaint at the Amruthahalli Police Station in Bengaluru, accusing former Karnataka Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy and former MLC Ramesh Gowda of issuing death threats and demanding Rs 50 crore. The FIR has been registered after initial discussions with senior police officers.

According to Vijay Tata, who is also the Vice President of the JD(S) party’s social media wing, the demand was made during a meeting where Kumaraswamy allegedly insisted on the money to cover election expenses for his son, Nikhil Kumaraswamy.

Tata claimed that when he refused, citing financial constraints, Kumaraswamy threatened him, saying that if the money wasn’t provided, his life in Bengaluru would become difficult. The case is under investigation.
