Sunitha Kejriwal Follows Nara Bhuvaneshwari

Sunitha Kejriwal Follows Nara Bhuvaneshwari

Ever since the arrest of Arvind Kejriwal, netizens and political journalists have been comparing him to Lalu Prasad Yadav, as his wife, Sunita Kejriwal, came into the spotlight, hinting at being the heir apparent for her husband's political career.

However, it should be noted that Sunita Kejriwal is following in the footsteps of Nara Bhuvaneshwari, the wife of Andhra Pradesh's former Chief Minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu.

When Chandrababu Naidu was arrested in the Skill Development Case a few months ago and imprisoned, it was his wife Bhuvaneshwari who entered the political spotlight for the first time, starting campaigns in support of her husband.

Naidu was released on bail after 52 days, particularly when his health issues were emphasized.

Now, Sunita seems to be adopting the same strategy by initiating campaigns like 'Kejriwal Ko Ashirwad' and expressing concerns about Arvind Kejriwal's deteriorating health in prison.

Sunita Kejriwal initiated the 'Kejriwal ko Aashirwad' WhatsApp campaign, encouraging people to send blessings to the jailed AAP leader. She shared a dedicated WhatsApp number for this purpose.

This announcement followed Kejriwal's appearance in court, where his Enforcement Directorate custody was extended until April 1.

Sunita, present at the court proceedings, expressed concerns about her husband's health, citing fluctuating sugar levels and harassment. She conveyed confidence in the eventual defeat of what she termed as tyranny, asserting people's eventual response.

Kejriwal, during the hearing, accused the ED of targeting his party. Despite his readiness for investigation he criticized the motive behind his detention.

The campaign reflects a blatant similarity between the wives of two ex-Chief Ministers of two different Indian states.
