BJP leaders anticipate that Nirmala Sitharaman will be asked to contest from Tamil Nadu this time. If this occurs, she would need to win the Lok Sabha seat and continue as a Minister in the new cabinet.
All the aforementioned leaders are encouraged to draw inspiration from Smriti Irani's victory in Amethi for a Lok Sabha seat in the past.
