Is DK Shivakumar the Shinde of Congress?

A political earthquake is expected in Karnataka, with significant political upheavals predicted soon, according to BJP leaders in the state. Former minister and BJP leader B. Sriramulu made sensational remarks on Friday, stating that Karnataka is likely to witness an "Eknath Shinde-like" incident in the near future.

He added that if such an event were to occur, the BJP leadership would decide whether to support the faction that splits from the Congress. The recent participation of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Congress leader DK Shivakumar in the Isha Foundation Maha Shivaratri celebrations in Coimbatore has sparked speculation about DK Shivakumar's growing closeness to the BJP.

BJP Legislative Party Leader R. Ashok remarked, "There are many leaders in the ruling Congress who resemble Eknath Shinde, and DK Shivakumar is one of them." He further suggested that DK Shivakumar could potentially join hands with the BJP to overthrow the Congress government. However, DK Shivakumar has rejected these rumors, dismissing them as BJP-driven propaganda.
