Is Asaduddin Afraid Of Madhavi Latha?

Asaduddin Owaisi, the formidable leader of Hyderabad's old city, has been representing this constituency in the Lok Sabha for decades. His father, Salauddin Owaisi, and grandfather, Abdul Wahed Owaisi, had an invincible history in this constituency.

The Owaisis were never defeated, and they were always known for their support among Muslim voters.

While it's true that they wouldn't have become public representatives solely through Muslim votes, they never emphasized their efforts for Hindu voters in the media.

But for the first time, Asaduddin Owaisi is projecting in the media as if he is attentive to the concerns of Hindu voters. He is mentioning their names with respect and assuring them that he will address their issues once the elections are over.

He is also seen assigning some leaders to investigate these issues and bring them to his attention after the elections. These videos are circulating on social media, mainly uploaded on AIMIM's official channels.

Local political analysts suggest that this portrayal of Asaduddin is aimed at diluting the anti-Hindu label associated with him, not only among his constituency voters but also in the eyes of the national media.

They argue that Asaduddin feels it is necessary, especially as the BJP is making strong attempts to challenge him with the candidacy of Kompella Madhavi Latha, a Hindu entrepreneur who confronts him in the political arena with her Sanatani identity.
