Yesteryear Actress Blames Social Media For Divorces

Mumtaz Askari Madhvani the celebrated actress who turned 77 on July 31 shared her views on the fragility of modern marriages in a recent interview.

She attributed the rise in unsuccessful marriages to social media noting that it undermines the sense of lifelong commitment. 

Mumtaz criticized the trend of sharing explicit images emphasizing that true allure comes from mystery and dignity.

Despite societal changes she has maintained her respectability throughout her career.

Addressing past rumors about her husband's affair Mumtaz confirmed it explaining that her husband had confessed to liking another woman but assured her of his enduring love and commitment. 

She acknowledged her own stubbornness but emphasized that the issue is now resolved and she has forgiven him appreciating the comfortable life he provides for her.
