Won’t Do It Even for 100 Crores, Says Ameesha Patel

Former Bollywood diva Ameesha Patel has publicly lashed out at Gadar 2 director Anil Sharma, following his recent remarks about her rejecting a mother-in-law role in the movie.

During an interview, Anil Sharma revealed that Ameesha refused to portray the role of a mother-in-law in Gadar 2, even after being told how legendary actresses like Nargis Dutt took on such mature roles at a young age. He claimed that despite his efforts to convince her, she remained adamant.

Responding to this, Ameesha Patel issued a sharp statement:

"Dear Anil, this is not real life, it’s just cinema. What I choose to do or not do on screen is entirely my personal decision. Whether it’s Gadar or any other movie, I will not play mother-in-law roles. Even if offered Rs 100 crores, I wouldn’t accept such roles. I respect you deeply, but please don’t diminish that respect."

This bold response by Ameesha underscores her clear stance on the types of roles she is willing to accept, and it reflects her determination to uphold her choices in the industry.
