Will Vicky Shine As Maratha Warrior?

Not all historical films shine in big screen as successes. But the expectations are high on this film due to lead star and the character he is portraying. 

Vicky Kaushal is set to star as the legendary Maratha warrior king Chhatrapati Sambhaji in the epic action-drama Chhaava. The teaser reveals Kaushal's powerful portrayal of Sambhaji showcasing intense battle scenes against a large Mughal army highlighting his bravery and valor. 

Akshaye Khanna appears as Aurangzeb, the film's formidable antagonist. The teaser, which debuted alongside Stree 2 has garnered praise for Kaushal’s performance. The film also features Rashmika Mandanna, Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, Neil Bhoopalam and Santosh Juvekar in key roles. 

Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, Chhaava is set to release on December 6. Utekar and Kaushal previously collaborated on the successful comedy romance Zara Hatke Zara Bachke marking their continued partnership in this high-octane historical saga.
