Will the Star Hero Have a Real Diwali?

Kannada actor and Challenging Star Darshan's bail plea, filed after his arrest in the murder case of fan Renuka Swamy, has been postponed once again. After facing rejection in a lower court, Darshan's legal team moved the High Court, which has now scheduled the hearing for October 28. With this date nearing, many believe Darshan might secure bail before Diwali.

In the lower court, the judge did not accept the arguments presented by Darshan’s lawyers, leading them to approach the High Court. This time, they highlighted Darshan’s serious health condition, particularly his severe back pain, requesting immediate bail for better medical treatment.

Responding to this, the court demanded a comprehensive health report. Darshan was rushed from jail to the hospital for a spinal scan, and the results will soon be submitted to the court. However, during his transfer back to jail, Darshan lost his temper when a fan pulled his hand, leading to an outburst.

Darshan’s legal team argued that all witness testimonies and evidence collection in the Renuka Swamy murder case are complete, making it safe to grant him bail. However, the lower court denied bail, citing concerns that Darshan could influence witnesses as the case remains in a crucial phase. This led to the High Court appeal.

Additionally, Darshan's request to be transferred from Ballari Jail to Bengaluru's Parappana Agrahara Jail is still pending in court.
