Bollywood actor Sonu Sood, celebrated for his humanitarian efforts during the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown, has dismissed rumors linking his kindness to political ambitions. Known as a "messiah" for helping migrant workers, Sood revealed he had declined numerous political offers, including high-profile roles such as Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, and a seat in the Rajya Sabha.

In an interview, Sood shared that influential leaders urged him to join politics without needing to contest elections, offering him opportunities to make a difference. 

Despite these tempting offers, he firmly stated he has no interest in entering politics. Reflecting on the experience, Sood described it as surreal but reaffirmed his commitment to helping people without pursuing a political career. His decision highlights his focus on making an impact through his personal initiatives rather than through political means.
