We’ll Kill Him at Home – Another Death Threat to Salman

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has once again received a death threat, reportedly from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang. Over the past few years, Salman has been facing both direct and indirect threats from this gang. The latest threat came via WhatsApp, where unknown individuals warned they would kill him in his own home.

The threatening message also said his car would be blown up with a bomb. According to Mumbai Police, the message was sent to the official WhatsApp number of the Worli Transport Department. A case has been registered at the Worli Police Station, and an investigation is currently underway.

Salman has been on the gang’s hit list since the 1998 blackbuck poaching case. He has received multiple threats from them over the years. In April last year, two unidentified men on a motorbike fired shots outside Salman’s Galaxy Apartment in Mumbai before fleeing the scene. Later, in June, the gang allegedly plotted another attack on him while he was traveling from his Panvel farmhouse to the city. Police identified the plan during their ongoing investigation.

Due to these continuous threats, Salman has been placed under high-security cover. Mumbai Police have assigned him Y+ category security. In addition, bulletproof glass fencing has been installed around his residence. He's also taking extra precautions during film shootings, avoiding outdoor shoots whenever possible.

"As long as I’m destined to live..."
Salman recently addressed these threats, saying he places his faith in God. “I believe in God. He takes care of everything. I’ll live as long as I’m meant to. Yes, because of these threats, security around me has increased—at home, on set, everywhere. Sometimes even the security feels like a challenge,” he said.

On the work front, Salman’s latest film Sikandar was released recently as a Ramzan special. The movie features Rashmika Mandanna as his co-star.
