Weak Narration Along with Negativity

The movie Test, starring Nayanthara, was released for direct streaming yesterday. Unfortunately, the film failed to impress audiences. Despite having a strong star cast, it faced criticism for weak narration and a poorly executed storyline. Many viewers felt that the plot was dragging and not engaging.

As a result, Test truly tested the patience of the audience. However, in addition to the flop talk, some ongoing negativity surrounding Nayanthara also contributed to the film's downfall, say critics from Kollywood.

The ongoing copyright dispute between Nayanthara and Dhanush, along with a related court case, has been a subject of public attention. At one point, Nayanthara openly criticized Dhanush, which angered his fans. This gave them an opportunity to retaliate.

As soon as Test began streaming, Dhanush's fans started spreading negative publicity. Some people wrote negative reviews, while others took to social media with screenshots to criticize the film. Moreover, the movie quickly went viral for all the wrong reasons.

Thus, Test failed to attract viewers with its content, and the negative publicity from Dhanush’s fans added even more damage. Nayanthara's next theatrical release is coming up. If the anger subsides by then, it might be okay, but if not, the negativity surrounding her next film is almost guaranteed.
