Rohit Roy recently opened up about his intense and unhealthy preparation for his role in Shootout at Lokhandwala (2007). In an interview he revealed following a drastic water-only diet to achieve a "skinny" look, losing 16 kg in just 25-26 days. Reflecting on the experience, Rohit admitted, “It was a really stupid diet. I will never do that again. It’s dangerous and can harm your organs.”

Rohit highlighted the risks of extreme diets, recalling stories of actors who faced severe consequences, even death, from similar methods. He now adopts a balanced approach to fitness, incorporating a gym into his shooting schedule and practicing the 16:8 intermittent fasting plan. His routine involves fasting for 18 hours daily, with an eating window from 1 pm to 7 pm.

The "water diet," where only water is consumed, can lead to rapid weight loss but poses serious health risks. Experts caution against such extreme practices.
