Viraj Ghelani, a social media content creator-turned-actor, shared his experience of being sidelined during the promotions of the 2022 film Govinda Naam Mera, despite playing a role in it. Feeling upset Viraj used his social media influence to get back at the filmmakers.
He instructed his Instagram followers to flood the film's YouTube trailer with "Here for Viraj" comments, prompting a call from the production team asking him to stop.
Viraj also talked about his brief role in the 2023 film Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan. Although he filmed for 15 days, his appearance in the movie was reduced to just a few seconds in the background.
This left him disappointed especially as his fiancée eagerly anticipated seeing him at the premiere only for him to have an almost invisible role.
