Vikrant Faces Threats Ahead of Film Release

The Sabarmati Report, starring Vikrant Massey, is set to release on November 15, 2024. The film focuses on the 2002 Godhra train burning incident where 59 people were killed when a train's S6 coach was set on fire in Gujarat. Massey, while promoting the film revealed that he has been receiving threats on social media and expressed concern for the safety of his 9-month-old son, Vardhaan, whose name has been dragged into the controversy. 

He shared his frustration saying that if he were afraid, the film would never have been made. 

The actor also highlighted that while the world remembers the events of February 28, 2002, the tragedy of February 27, which led to the deaths, has been largely overlooked. The Sabarmati Report also stars Raashi Khanna and Riddhi Dogra and is produced by Ektaa R Kapoor and directed by Dheeraj Sarna.
