Vijay Deverakonda, the South Indian actor who experienced a significant setback with the flop of "Liger," faced a major obstacle in his journey to establish himself as a pan Indian star.
Although well-known in his native language, he has yet to achieve the same level of success as top stars in the industry.
In an interview with a media house, he revealed something intriguing.
He shared that he had to auction his Filmfare Award, which he received for 'Arjun Reddy,' to raise Rs 25 lakh for a noble cause. He shared that as he accomplished this it became a cherished memory for him.
However, he remarked, "That's a nicer memory for me than a piece of stone in my house."
Isn't it interesting to refer to a prestigious award as a 'piece of stone'?
