Her team clarified that Vidya was moved by Rohit's selfless act, posting the message voluntarily and not at the request of his PR team. They emphasized that, although she is not a sports enthusiast, Vidya admires individuals who display grace under pressure.
Vidya later tweeted, praising Rohit for his courage and calling him a "superstar." However, critics noted her message was identical to one allegedly circulated by Rohit’s PR team.
On the professional front, Vidya was last seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, a horror-comedy directed by Anees Bazmee, co-starring Kartik Aaryan, Triptii Dimri, and Madhuri Dixit.
