Trained for ‘Peddi’: Shivrajkumar Learning Telug

It's already known that Ram Charan has undergone a makeover for the movie Peddi. He even received some training in cricket for the role. Now, Kannada superstar Shivrajkumar, who is playing a key role in the film, is also undergoing training — in Telugu.

Shivrajkumar himself revealed that he is learning Telugu under the guidance of director Buchi Babu Sana. To prepare for his role, he arrived in Hyderabad 20 days ahead of the shoot and started training in the language with the director.

After completing his training, he stepped onto the sets and delivered his dialogues in Telugu. He shared that this was the first time he ever spoke his lines in Telugu and that Peddi is giving him a memorable experience.

So far, he has worked only two days on the project. He also mentioned that it rained on the day he delivered his Telugu dialogues — and he saw that as nature welcoming him to Telugu cinema. Shivrajkumar also said he loved the Peddi glimpse video.

Ram Charan is reportedly keen to complete the movie as quickly as possible. Director Buchi Babu is also working at full speed. With A.R. Rahman now available, the production is moving ahead briskly.
