Sonu Sood has responded to a topic that is going viral on social media. He posted about the arrest warrant issued against him. He says that he is saying the same thing now as he did then.. that he has no connection with that case.
A Ludhiana court expressed anger at Sonu Sood for not appearing in court to testify in a cheating case. News reports said that the court immediately issued orders to arrest him and bring him to court. Sonu Sood responded to this.
"The news about me on social media is becoming sensational. I need to give clarity on such matters. To put it simply, we have no connection or association with that case. The court has included us as witnesses in such a case and issued summons. Our lawyers will respond to this matter on February 10. We are not brand ambassadors, we have no connection with that case in any way. This is just intended to attract media attention. It is sad that celebrities are becoming soft targets. We will take strict action in this matter."
A lawyer from Ludhiana, Mohit Sharma, has accused a person named Rijika Kain of cheating him of around 10 lakh rupees. The lawyer has named Sonu Sood as a witness in this case.
Sonu Sood says that he has no connection with this case and there is no need for him to appear in court. The court, angered by this, issued a non-bailable warrant against him. The case has been adjourned to the 10th.
