The Dussehra season has come to an end, and Alia Bhatt's latest film *Jigra* has been declared a major flop. According to Bollywood trade analysts, this is the worst opening of her decade-long career. Despite the festive season boost, *Jigra* failed to maintain momentum after a slight pickup, with the film's collections plunging again the very next day.
On its opening day, *Jigra* earned only Rs 4.55 crore, followed by Rs 6.55 crore on the second day. These figures remained the film's only noteworthy earnings over the first four days, as occupancy significantly dropped. Meanwhile, Rajkummar Rao and Tripti Dimri's film, which was released around the same time, performed much better in theaters.
Overall, *Jigra* has turned out to be a disappointment and a flop in Alia Bhatt's career.
