Filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri known for exploring sensitive historical topics revealed the emotional toll of directing his upcoming movie, The Delhi Files. The film based on a painful chapter of India's history has deeply affected the cast and crew. Sharing his experience on social media Vivek disclosed that someone on set becomes emotional daily due to the intense narrative. Recently he himself broke down during filming.
Vivek highlighted that the younger crew members were particularly shocked by the untaught history of pain, persecution and sacrifice depicted in the film. He also shared a poignant photo with young actresses portraying characters unaware of the terror their roles would endure.
Following successful films like The Kashmir Files and The Tashkent Files, The Delhi Files co-produced by Pallavi Joshi and Abhishek Agarwal will uncover the untold story of Hindu genocide. The film is set to release on August 15, 2025.
