Singer Diljit Dosanjh is set to perform in Hyderabad on November 15 as part of his Dil-Luminati Tour. However the Telangana government has imposed restrictions on his performance barring songs referencing violence, drugs or alcohol. A notice from the welfare department also warned against using children during his show citing similar concerns raised after his Delhi concerts in October. Tracks like 5 Taara, Case and Patiala Peg are reportedly under scrutiny.
Ahead of his performance Diljit shared photos from Hyderabad’s Falaknuma Palace on Instagram accompanied by a cryptic caption: "Aandhi roke toh hum toofan...Toofan roke toh hum aag ka dariya."
Diljit’s tour began in Delhi on October 26 amidst controversy over alleged mismanagement and damage to the stadium venue. Following Hyderabad he will perform in Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune and other cities concluding in Guwahati on December 29. Despite challenges the singer’s tour continues to draw significant attention nationwide.
