Tehseen Defends Vicky Kaushal Amid Nagpur Riots

Political analyst and Bigg Boss 13 fame Tehseen Poonawalla has strongly defended Vicky Kaushal against accusations that his film Chhaava incited riots in Nagpur and Maharashtra. He dismissed claims that art could trigger violence and criticized those blaming Vicky, stating that films merely reflect society rather than fuel unrest.

Taking a dig at Swara Bhasker, Poonawalla called her a "third-rate actress" and held her and politician Abu Azmi responsible for glorifying Aurangzeb. He also accused right-wing leaders like Maharashtra minister Narayan Rane and Telangana MLA T Raja of escalating tensions while keeping their own families uninvolved in the chaos.

Amid ongoing curfews in Nagpur following the violent clashes over Aurangzeb’s tomb, Poonawalla urged an end to hate and called for unity. His remarks come after Swara faced backlash for comparing the Chhaava controversy to the Maha Kumbh stampede.
