Suspect Arrested: Knife Attack on Saif Ali Khan

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was reportedly injured in a knife attack, and police have arrested the suspect involved in the incident. Early this morning, the suspect was last seen near Bandra railway station, according to police. Following the attack, the suspect allegedly boarded the first local train towards Vasai-Virar.

Police tracked and apprehended the suspect, who was then taken to Bandra police station for questioning. Authorities are investigating the identity of the attacker, any potential accomplices, and the motive behind the assault.

Following the knife attack, Bandra police formed 10 special teams to conduct a search operation. Additionally, 10 teams from the Crime Branch were deployed. Using CCTV footage from Saif's residence, the suspect was identified within hours.

According to a statement from a household staff member, the attacker entered Saif’s home through the fire exit stairs. He went directly to the room where Saif’s children were sleeping. The staff member, upon seeing the intruder, screamed, prompting Saif to enter the room. As soon as Saif confronted the attacker, the latter assaulted him with a knife.

Saif suffered knife wounds on his neck, back, arms, and head, with six injuries in total. A two-and-a-half-inch knife tip lodged near his spine was successfully removed by doctors. The knife tip has been taken into custody by the police for further investigation.

At the time of the incident, six staff members were present in the house. Saif’s children from his first marriage, Ibrahim Ali Khan and Sara Ali Khan, also reside in the same building on the eighth floor. Upon learning about the attack, Ibrahim immediately rushed his father to the hospital.

Both the police and the Maharashtra government are treating the case with utmost seriousness. The suspect was arrested within hours, showcasing the swift action of law enforcement.
