Sunny Deol's latest film, Jaat, experienced a significant jump in box office collections on its third day, earning Rs 10 crore on Saturday. Despite facing a dip in performance on Friday, where it earned only Rs 7 crore, the film now has a total collection of Rs 26.50 crore.
The film initially opened with Rs 9.50 crore on April 10 but saw a decline on Friday, with around 400 shows cancelled in cities like Mumbai and Delhi due to underperformance. However, positive word-of-mouth and critical reviews helped the film rebound on Saturday.
The film is expected to see another increase in earnings on Sunday, and its success will largely depend on sustaining the momentum through the weekend. Jaat, which also stars Randeep Hooda, Vineet Kumar Singh, and others, marks Sunny Deol’s return to the big screen after the success of Gadar 2 in 2023.
