Sunil Shetty And Son Buy Rs 8 Cr Flat In Mumbai

Bollywood actor Sunil Shetty and his son Ahan Shetty have bought a 1,200-square-foot property in Mumbai's upscale Khar West area through a bank auction for Rs 8.01 crore, with additional costs of Rs 40.08 lakh in stamp duty and a Rs 30,000 registration fee, as per Square Yards' property records. 

This October 2024 transaction reflects a growing trend among celebrities investing in Bandra and nearby areas, with figures like Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and KL Rahul also acquiring property there due to its prime amenities, infrastructure and proximity to key business hubs and the airport.

This trend continued when Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan recently purchased ten apartments in Mumbai’s Mulund area for Rs 24.95 crore with each unit spanning between 912 and 1049 square feet. Mumbai remains a hot spot for Bollywood investments with high rental yields and significant capital appreciation drawing interest from stars across generations.
