'Stree 2' Hero Shares His 'Poor' Flashback

Rajkummar Rao is celebrating the success of his latest film Stree 2 a horror comedy that has grossed over Rs 386 crores in India and surpassed Rs 500 crore worldwide in just 11 days. 

Directed by Amar Kaushik this sequel has exceeded expectations. Rajkummar expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming response emphasizing that the film's success is special because it is content driven. 

Saying about his journey he spoke of his humble beginnings and the challenges he faced including cycling long distances during his theater days in Delhi due to poor financial constraints. 

He credits his family's unwavering support, especially his mother for his perseverance. Despite the initial struggles after his debut film LSD, Rajkummar said that he remained focused on pursuing meaningful work over fame or money.
