Stree 2 is performing exceptionally well at the box office becoming the second-highest-grossing Hindi film in India. In an interview actor Abhishek Banerjee discussed the importance of audience approval over critical acclaim.
He stated that while critical reviews vary and do not always reflect an actor’s true talent, audience acceptance is crucial. Banerjee emphasized that audience appreciation is essential for career success and personal fulfillment, noting that critical praise alone does not ensure job opportunities or financial stability.
'Stree 2' a sequel to the 2018 film 'Stree' has outperformed other films like 'Khel Khel Mein' and 'Vedaa' at the box office. It achieved over Rs 250 crore within six days of release. The horror-comedy features Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor dealing with a new ghostly threat a headless specter named Sarkata.
