SRK- Top Tax Paying Celebrity At Rs 92 Cr

Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan has emerged as India’s top tax-paying celebrity for 2023-2024, contributing an impressive Rs 92 crore to the government.

This follows his successful year, which saw the release of three major hits: Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki. Both Pathaan and Jawan crossed Rs 1000 crore at the box office while Dunki surpassed Rs 500 crore.

South superstar Thalapathy Vijay follows with a substantial Rs 80 crore tax payment fueled by film earnings and business ventures. Salman Khan ranks third with Rs 75 crore and Amitabh Bachchan is fourth with Rs 71 crore. Virat Kohli rounds out the top five with Rs 66 crore.

Other notable names on the list include Ajay Devgn, Ranbir Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Kapil Sharma, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Mohanlal and former cricketers MS Dhoni, Sourav Ganguly and Sachin Tendulkar.
