Singham Again had a strong debut at the box office, earning over Rs 43 crore on its opening day, according to Sacnilk. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film attracted significant audience turnout with occupancy rates reaching 39.39% for morning shows and 71.90% for afternoon shows.
The highest attendance was noted in cities like Jaipur, Surat, Mumbai, and Pune, each with 60-70% occupancy while Delhi NCR led with 1,304 shows at 50% occupancy. Although the film appears set to surpass Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 in Maharashtra its opening figures are not as high as expected for a Shetty film or the Singham franchise especially since there are no bulk buys or discounted tickets.
This installment features a star studded cast including Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Deepika Padukone who plays Lady Singham. The trailer showcases action and modern interpretations of characters intertwining themes of good versus evil as Ajay Devgn reprises his iconic role as Bajirao Singham.
