Sikandar Struggles to Recover Salman’s Fee

There are many heroes in our industry who take hundreds of crores as their remuneration. However, when the films they take those huge sums for flop, the remuneration money doesn't come back. This is one such instance.

The movie Sikandar, released as a Ramadan treat, turned out to be a disaster. There’s no dispute regarding this. However, the final collection of the film has become a topic of discussion.

The trade suggests that Sikandar is likely to end its theatrical run with a collection of less than 100 crores. If that happens, it would be less than the remuneration Salman Khan received for the film.

Salman Khan usually takes more than 100 crores for his movies. There are reports suggesting he took around 120 crores for Sikandar. This means the collections have not even covered Salman’s remuneration.

On the other hand, the producers are thinking of canceling all multiplex agreements for the film and releasing it on OTT as soon as possible, hoping to recover some of the losses. However, it’s well-known that canceling multiplex agreements isn't an easy task.
