Shraddha Opens Up About Aashiqui 2 Struggles

Actress Shraddha Kapoor, currently celebrating the success of Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Aatank, the highest-grossing Hindi film of the year, opened up about the failure of her debut film Teen Patti (2010), which disappointed her. 

Speaking on this, Shraddha shared that it was hard to get roles before Aashiqui 2 (2013), which gave her immense popularity. Despite being from a film family, her father, Shakti Kapoor, didn’t use his influence to help her, encouraging her to succeed on her own. This taught Shraddha to deal with rejection and failure personally. Teen Patti, co-starring Amitabh Bachchan and Ben Kingsley, was directed by Leena Yadav but did not perform well at the box office. 

Shraddha is currently attending the Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia and will soon appear in the film Naagin, set to begin filming in 2025.
