Shocking: Sikandar Movie Leaked Before Release

Piracy continues to haunt the film industry, affecting Tollywood, Bollywood, and Kollywood alike. Within hours of a movie’s release, HD prints are leaked on social media, causing significant losses to the industry. However, this time, a movie has fallen victim to piracy even before its official release.

Salman Khan’s much-anticipated film Sikandar hit theaters worldwide today. However, just hours before its release, the movie's print surfaced on social media, leaving the entire film unit in shock.

For the past few days, an anonymous group had been threatening to leak Sikandar before its release. Even three days prior, warnings about the leak were circulating online.

Initially, many dismissed these warnings as baseless. However, the group followed through with its threat, leaking the HD print of Sikandar online exactly five hours before its official release. This has enraged Salman Khan’s fans, who suspect that insiders, possibly technicians from the film unit, might be involved in the leak.

Despite this setback, Sikandar has officially hit theaters and is being screened on a massive scale. On its opening day alone, the film is being played in 5,500 screens across India, with a record-breaking 22,000 shows—the highest ever for a Hindi movie.
