Shilpa Shirodkar About Her Depression

Actress Shilpa Shirodkar currently a contestant on Bigg Boss 18 shared her battle with depression following the death of her parents in 2008. The daughter of Vanita and Nitin Shirodkar she is the sister of actress Namrata Shirodkar. 

In a recent episode she discussed her emotional struggles with co-contestant Gunaratna Sadavarte revealing that her husband Apresh Ranjit sacrificed his successful career to support her during this difficult time. Shilpa praised Apresh for prioritizing her well-being, stating that he could have achieved great things in banking had he not made that choice. She expressed gratitude for the support from her husband and daughter emphasizing their role in her recovery. 

Shilpa made her acting debut in 1989 with the film Bhrashtachar and became a prominent actress in the 1990s appearing in notable films before returning to television after a long break.
