ShahRukh Pays Rs 24 Lakh Rent Per Month

Can anyone afford to pay Rs 24 lakh rent per month? Do such expensive properties even exist in India? The answer is yes – in Mumbai, there are homes with such high rents, and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is paying that amount.

Shah Rukh Khan has leased two luxury duplex apartments in Mumbai's Pali Hill area. The actor has signed a contract to pay Rs 2.9 crore annually for these properties, which means his monthly rent comes to approximately Rs 24 lakh.

Interestingly, these luxury duplex apartments belong to Jackie Bhagnani, the husband of actress Rakul Preet Singh. Shah Rukh Khan has rented them from Jackie Bhagnani at the mentioned amount.

While Shah Rukh Khan already owns a large residence in Mumbai, where he lives with his wife and children, he leased these additional luxury flats to accommodate his 'extra needs.' It is also believed that there are tax-related matters and financial dealings involved in this arrangement.
