Speaking on a podcast, Abhijeet revealed his hurt, emphasizing he never insulted Shah Rukh but expressed his pain over being ignored. Despite their successful collaborations on iconic tracks like Zara Sa Jhoom Loon Mein and Tumne Jo Maine Dekha, their bond remained strictly professional.

Abhijeet lamented that Shah Rukh never extended an olive branch to reconcile, though he didn’t expect an apology. “We are like husband and wife—meant to patch up for the greater good,” he remarked, reflecting on their shared musical chemistry.
