Shah Rukh Khan Expressed His Death Wish

Shah Rukh Khan, the renowned actor with over 30 years in the film industry, expressed his desire to continue acting for life during the Locarno Film Festival where he received a Lifetime Achievement Award. 

At 58 he stated that his dream is to act until his last moments, humorously wishing for a scenario where he would be called to action and not get up after the cut. He described acting as a celebration of life’s joys emphasizing that his aim is to entertain and create love through his performances. 

He likened various forms of art—like painting and music—to acting stating they all convey the same message of joy. Looking ahead Shah Rukh will star in Sujoy Ghosh's crime drama King, alongside his daughter Suhana Khan which is set for release by his production company, Red Chillies Entertainment, on Eid 2026.
