Senior Actor Was Kidnapped And Tortured

Actor Mushtaq Khan was kidnapped on November 20, 2024, after being lured to Delhi under the pretext of attending an event. 

Upon arrival, he was forced into a car and taken to Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. Khan was tortured for 12 hours, with kidnappers demanding a ransom of several crores. They withdrew Rs 2 lakh from his account. 

During the morning azaan, Khan realized a mosque was nearby, prompting him to escape and seek help from locals. He managed to contact the police and return home safely.

Khan, a veteran actor with over three decades in the industry, is known for roles in films like Welcome, Hera Pheri, Gadar 2, and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. He has also appeared in popular TV shows, including Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi and Wagle Ki Duniya. Recently, he featured in Stree 2 alongside Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao.
