Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film Khel Khel Mein is a remake of the 2016 Italian comedy drama Perfect Strangers. The story centers on seven friends whose hidden secrets are revealed when they play a game involving their phones leading to broken relationships and a deeper message about how even close friends can be strangers.
In an interview Akshay mentioned that he wouldn’t mind if his wife Twinkle Khanna read his messages as he has nothing to hide. He humorously added that such a game could be more thrilling than outdoor games due to the mental effort involved.
The film exploring the dynamics of three married couples sees Akshay playing a man with a troubled marriage. He declined to give marriage advice emphasizing that everyone should learn from their own experiences.
The film directed by Mudassar Aziz, also features Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Taapsee Pannu and others and will release on August 15.
