Salman Khan In Donkey Controversy

PETA India has urged Bollywood star Salman Khan, host of "Bigg Boss 18," to influence the show's producers to stop using animals. The request comes after public complaints about a donkey being kept in the Bigg Boss house. 

PETA’s letter emphasizes the distress animals face in such environments citing that donkeys as prey animals, are naturally anxious in loud and confined spaces. The organization highlighted that animals should not be used as props for entertainment and suggested rehoming the donkey in a sanctuary. 

They also mentioned the potential harm of using the donkey for milk research as donkeys produce milk only for their offspring. PETA appealed to Salman given his influential status to set a compassionate example by advocating for the removal of animals from the show which would benefit both the animals and viewers.
