Saif's Fight With Wrestler-Turned-Robber

It is known that in a shocking incident, Saif Ali Khan was stabbed during a robbery attempt at his Bandra residence on January 16. The attacker, Mohammed Shehzad, a former national-level wrestler from Bangladesh, reportedly entered India illegally and had been living in Mumbai for months.

Shehzad broke into the actor’s home in the early hours, injuring Saif and a house-help before fleeing. Arrested on January 19 in Thane, Shehzad admitted his wrestling background aided his attack. Investigations revealed his involvement in a previous robbery in Worli, where he was accused of stealing a diamond ring.

The accused had worked at a Thane restaurant until December 2024 and moved around Mumbai post-attack. While in police custody, his lawyer claimed there is no proof of his Bangladeshi origin, asserting Shehzad has lived in Mumbai for over seven years with his family. Further investigations are underway.
