Saif Returns Home

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, who was recovering from knife attack injuries and undergoing treatment at the hospital, has been discharged. He has now returned to his residence in Bandra.

Upon learning of Saif's return, a large number of people gathered outside his residence to catch a glimpse of the actor.

Despite tight security, an intruder managed to enter Saif’s home with the intention of committing theft. A scuffle broke out between Saif and the intruder, during which the attacker stabbed Saif, causing severe injuries.

Saif sustained serious injuries in six places on his body. He was rushed to the hospital in an auto-rickshaw, where doctors performed two surgeries on him. A 2-inch knife blade lodged near his spinal cord was successfully removed.

Meanwhile, Mumbai police took the incident seriously and apprehended the culprits within two days. The attacker, identified as Shariful Islam Shehzad from Bangladesh, was arrested. Police also conducted a crime scene reconstruction at Saif’s residence with the accused.

Charges, including attempted murder and multiple sections under the Passport Act, were filed against Shehzad. The court has remanded the accused to police custody.

With Saif now safe and back home, Bollywood and the Maharashtra government have heaved a sigh of relief.
