The suspect was apprehended while traveling in the general compartment of the Shalimar Gyaneshwari Express.

The RPF confirmed that Mumbai Police had shared the suspect's photograph, which was used to identify him via video call. The accused, identified as Akash Kailash Kanaujia from Mumbai, was traveling from Mumbai to Bilaspur. He reportedly told the RPF that he was visiting acquaintances in Tilda Neora.

The case pertains to an attack on Saif Ali Khan at his residence. Following the incident, Mumbai Police launched an investigation and shared details with the RPF. Acting on this information, the RPF detained the suspect during routine checks on the Shalimar Gyaneshwari Express.

RPF officials confirmed that the Mumbai Police team is expected to arrive in Raipur by 8 PM and proceed to Durg to take custody of the accused for further investigation.
