Richa Chadha On Motherhood and Paternity Leave

Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal welcomed their baby girl, Zuneyra Ida Fazal, in July last year. In a recent interview, Richa shared her experience of the early months of motherhood, emphasizing the importance of having a partner's support during this time. 

She revealed that Ali requested paternity leave after their daughter’s birth but did not receive it. Despite this, Ali's shoot got rescheduled for another reason, allowing him to be with her. Richa highlighted the emotional and physical challenges of new parenthood and the lack of accessible childcare in India. She also stressed the need for more women in leadership roles to improve the economy. 

The couple, who met on the sets of Fukrey, got married in October 2022 in an eco-friendly ceremony. Recently, they shared a joint post announcing their daughter and expressing gratitude for the love and support.
