Choreographer Remo D'Souza visited Maha Kumbh 2025 in Prayagraj with his wife, Lizelle, days after reports of alleged threats. He shared a video of taking a holy dip at Triveni Sangam and meditating on a ferry ride. Wearing black and covering his face, Remo mingled with lakhs of devotees, seeking blessings from Swami Kailashanand Giri Maharaj.
Earlier, reports surfaced that Remo, comedian Kapil Sharma, actor Rajpal Yadav, and Sugandha Mishra received threatening emails, reportedly traced to Pakistan, warning of serious consequences if demands weren’t met.
However, Lizelle clarified that Remo didn’t receive threats; the emails were spam, and they contacted the cyber cell. She believed the media misinterpreted the situation and mistakenly linked Remo to these emails. Despite the confusion, Remo's visit to the holy event reflected peace and devotion amidst the chaos.
