Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan and her mother, Amrita Singh, recently made headlines by purchasing two commercial office properties in Andheri West, Mumbai for Rs 22.26 crore. This acquisition adds to their expanding real estate portfolio in the city.
According to registration documents, the properties are located on the ninth floor of the Signature Building, acquired from Veer Savarkar Projects Private Limited, with each unit valued at Rs 11.13 crore. Each office spans 2,099 square feet and includes three parking spaces. This isn't their first investment in the building; they previously bought another unit for Rs 9 crore in July 2023.
Real estate investments among Bollywood stars are increasingly common with celebrities like Kareena Kapoor and Salman Khan also investing in commercial properties. On the professional front, Sara continues to work on her acting career with her upcoming film Metro In Dino directed by Anurag Basu set to release on November 29, 2024.
